From Sheep to Scarf – A One-Off Hand Woven Piece

Description

This is a one-off, hand woven scarf made using hand spun yarn from the fleeces of sheep I know personally. A base of soft greys is lifted with warm highlights of pink and orange. Made slowly and entirely by hand, from fleece to finished cloth, it is a unique piece shaped by time, care and place.
The sheep are raised in Devon and Cornwall. For this piece I used hand spun Jacobs natural colour of brown, hand spun and naturally hand dyed cheviot using onion skins and avocado. For the greys I used hand spun
